How content is researched and written
Every page on this site starts with a specific question — usually about a payment method, a process, or whether a particular claim holds up. Before we write anything, we try to find the most authoritative source available: the payment provider's own documentation or status page, relevant New Zealand legislation, consumer-protection guidance, or a casino's own current cashier page where the claim is about a specific merchant. Where we can't find a source that actually confirms a claim, we say so in the content itself rather than stating it as fact.
No fabricated claims
We do not invent statistics, testimonials, star ratings, "years in business" figures, business registration numbers, or named individual authors with biographies. Content is published under our editorial team byline, NZ Payments Desk, and nothing on this site should be read as a personal endorsement from a named expert — because we don't publish any. If a claim about casino payment-method availability can't be verified against the casino's own current material, we mark it as unverified rather than papering over the gap.
Correction policy
If a reader or anyone else flags an error — a dead link, an outdated claim, a factual mistake — we review it and correct the page as soon as reasonably possible. We'd rather a reader tell us something is wrong than leave it uncorrected, so we take correction reports seriously regardless of how they're raised. You can send one via our contact page.
Update frequency
Payment-method availability and provider terms can change without notice, which is exactly the problem this site was built to address more honestly than most. We periodically recheck pages that make availability claims and update the "last updated" date when we do. A page's last-updated date reflects when we most recently reviewed it, not necessarily that something changed — but it's also our signal to readers of how current the information should be considered.
Independence
We are not owned by, or paid by, any casino operator to favour or recommend it. Some pages on this site include affiliate links as disclosed in our affiliate disclosure, but affiliate relationships never determine what we say about a payment method's actual availability — see our how we review page for the specific methodology behind availability claims.
